Stefan (NSW/NT)

(PBS) Practitioner

Stefan is an emerging Behaviour Support Practitioner with a background in youth work, family mental health, and disability services. He began his career supporting young people with complex trauma and behavioural needs before working with families in remote communities. He later transitioned into disability support across Supported Independent Living (SIL) and day programs.

His experiences working with young people and Indigenous families shaped his strong interest in trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice as well as his belief for understanding the person behind the behaviour. His approach focuses on building strong relationships, understanding the function of behaviour, and developing practical, person-centred strategies that support meaningful outcomes for participants and their support teams.

Stefan is currently completing his Diploma of Counselling. Outside of professional career, he enjoys staying active through basketball, surfing, and spending time at live music and events.
