Alanah Paterson (NT/SA)

(PBS) Practitioner

Alanah Paterson has spent the past six years working in the disability sector and is currently pursuing a degree in Social Work at Charles Darwin University. Her career has been shaped by her experience as a support worker, where she helped clients travel across Australia, and by her work in Support Coordination in Alice Springs and Adelaide.

Specialising in trauma-informed, person-centred, and strengths-based approaches, Alanah is passionate about enhancing her clients' independence and improving their quality of life. She has a particular affinity for working with young people and is committed to breaking down communication barriers and reducing social isolation.

When she's not working, Alanah enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the beach with her dog, as well as travelling and reading.
